Born in the mountains of WNC Barret was raised to be a folk musician by a master in the fine arts and a classical pianist. Music is his passion, his life. The culture and beauty of the Appalachian mountains have served him a lifetime of inspiration as he continues to express his art. He has performed at many festivals including Merle Fest and was a former singer and songwriter for The Fox Fire. As a professional he strives to deliver masterful original music to his listeners.
