HESTER&FRANKLIN are a melodic jazz duo performing a unique blend of head-bobbing groove tunes, jazzy uptempo blues, fresh takes on familiar classics, surprising covers, and appealing original material as well. Trey Hester handles keyboards, utilizing a range of voices– traditional grand piano, iconic Rhodes electric piano, and lush organ.  James Franklin is on guitar, delivering slick melodies, lyrical solos and precise rhythm.  Their respective years of experience enable them to comfortably incorporate a variety of playing styles– including contemporary jazz/rock, Reggae and traditional combo– giving each tune it\’s own flavor.  The duo\’s sound includes customized bass and drum backing tracks that provide a full live band sound, but delivered at a conversational volume level.
