O Cellars Reserve Merlot

Burntshirt Vineyards Merlot has evolved over time in the vineyard. It proves to be a challenging varietal to grow in our terroir but we have honed in on its ability and have begun to craft our Reserve Merlot starting in 2017. This wine is delightful medium to heavy bodied wine with hints of mocha and flavors of plum and cherry.  Aged nearly two years in a blend of French and American oak to create an elegant and seamless finish. This wine is a perfect match for flat iron steak, grilled lamb chops, and red sauced pizza.
