Join us Saturday, 7/9 for live music at the vineyard from Wayne Taylor and George Giddens! Wayne is a seasoned Bluegrass guitarist from the heart of Western North Carolina. With his band Wayne Taylor & Appaloosa, he plays a variety of Bluegrass music ranging from traditional to contemporary. George Giddens is a virtuoso fiddle player from the classic Bluegrass band, The Dillards. Together they will be bringing the Bluegrass to the Burntshirt Vineyards Tasting Room and Winery Saturday from 2-5 PM for an afternoon of music, food and wine. We can’t wait to see you there!

Join us Saturday, March 4 at Burntshirt Vineyards in Hendersonville for live music at the vineyard from singer-songwriter Hope Griffin! Hope was born in Anchorage, Alaska surrounded by a musical family. She began singing and performing when she was very young. Hope first got turned onto the idea of writing her own music when she received a guitar at age 17.

Hope eventually moved to Asheville, NC where she introduced her angelic vocals and folky lyrics to the local music scene. She has risen as an Asheville favorite and continues to wow audiences and stretch musical boundaries. Hope can switch from soulful ballads to high-energy blues with ease. Constantly blending genres, the very essence of Hope’s trademark style remains. Her lyrical quality of capturing the simplest of life’s moments and rendering them profound reflects on the emotions that unite us all. Her free spirited personality and ability to tell beautiful stories through song make her a true force to reckon with. Hope can currently be seen on tour in a variety of combinations. Join us Saturday, 8/27 for live music at the vineyard from Rory Jagdeo! Hailing from Guyana, South America, Rory has been living in North Carolina for the last year. Rory (aka the Indian Bob Dylan) has been performing solo live with vocals, guitar, and harmonica for over ten years. He weaves a unique Americana style through his own originals and covers from the ’60s/’70s (Bob Dylan, Neil Young, Tom Petty, Bee Gees, Moody Blues, etc.). He has recorded three solo albums: “Hanging On” in 2008, “Cling and You Die” in 2010, and most recently, “Coming Home” in 2016. Rory Jagdeo will be captivating audiences at Burntshirt Vineyards Tasting Room and Winery Saturday from 2-5 PM. We can’t wait to see you here!

Join us Saturday, 7/2 for live music at the vineyard from American blues, soul and rock-n-roll artists Roots and Dore! Asheville musicians Riyen Roots and Kenny Dore are keeping the blues alive one show at a time. Currently among the busiest performing acts in the Southeast, they are working hard and quickly building a name for themselves, opening for national acts and playing festivals nationally and internationally. Their 2016 album The Blues and Beyond features such special guest as “Steady Rolling” Bob Margolin of the Muddy Waters Band, multiple Grammy winner David Holt, and Tony Black, bass player for Marshall Tucker Band. It’s going to be a bluesy good time at the Burntshirt Vineyards Tasting Room and Winery Saturday from 2-5 PM. We can’t wait to see you there!
