Join us this Sunday at the Burntshirt Vineyards Tasting Room and Winery from 2-5 PM for live music from the Hummingtree Band! Dave Miles, Earl Turner and Randy Wykoff came together as Hummingtree Band in 1985 to create a unique musical experience that pleased audiences across the Southeast, before disbanding shortly thereafter to attend to careers and capitalism. Twenty-three years later, the “old folkies” are back at it, writing and playing their own original songs while also covering classics such as the Kingston Trio’s “The Man Who Never Returns” and Johnny Cash’s “Ring of Fire”. Burntshirt Vineyards is thrilled to be hosting the Hummingtree Band this coming Sunday, 5/22. We hope to see you there!

This Saturday afternoon, Burntshirt Vineyards is hosting WNC musician Eric Congdon at the Hendersonville Winery and Tasting Room! Eric Congdon continues to establish his reputation as one of regions most engaging artists.  A multi-instrumentalist, singer songwriter, collaborator, producer, and virtuoso guitarist, Eric’s sonic vocabulary runs rich and deep. Surprising and engaging audiences everywhere, you never know what kind of music to expect. His live shows are a medley of influences, ideas and improvisation, and you may hear anything from Blues and Americana, to World Music, and everything in between! Come on down to the Burntshirt Vineyards Winery and Tasting Room this Saturday, 5/21, for an afternoon of amazing musicianship and fabulous wines!

Join us Saturday, September 2 for Grape Stomp 2023, our annual harvest celebration at Burntshirt Vineyards Tasting Room and Winery! Come on out for an all-day celebration including live music, wine tasting, winery tours, our famous Lucy Look-Alike contest, and of-course, some good ol’ fashioned grape stomping!

American blues, soul and rock-n-roll artists Roots and Dore will be playing from 1-3 PM on the Terrace, followed by some island vibes from Steve Weams and the Caribbean Cowboys from 4-7 PM.

Join us Saturday, 8/6 for live music at the vineyard from American blues, soul, and rock-n-roll artists Roots and Dore! Asheville musicians Riyen Roots and Kenny Dore are keeping the blues alive one show at a time. Currently among the busiest performing acts in the Southeast, they are working hard and quickly building a name for themselves, opening for national acts and playing festivals nationally and internationally. Their 2016 album The Blues and Beyond features such special guests as “Steady Rolling” Bob Margolin of the Muddy Waters Band, multiple Grammy winner David Holt, and Tony Black, bass player for Marshall Tucker Band. From Tucson to Austin to Asheville, Peggy has opened for acts such as the Tedeschi-Trucks Band, Geoff Atchison, Karen Lovely, Taj Mahal, Danielle Nicole, the Beach Boys and the late greats, Denise LaSalle and Sean Costello. With the richness, power and emotion of her voice, she can truly take any song and make it her own. Behind the scenes, Peggy is also a vocal advocate for women musicians.
