Music at the Vineyard - Ashley Heath

MUSIC AT THE VINEYARD – ASHLEY HEATH

Music at the Vineyard – Ashley Heath

Come out to Burntshirt Vineyards Tasting Room and Winery Saturday, January 14 for live music at the vineyard with Ashley Heath! Asheville songwriter Ashley Heath has been winning over the hearts of Americana music lovers since she gave up her barista apron in the Spring of 2015. Heath delivers her signature blend of sultry blues and anthemic rock n’ roll with a voice described as “velvet soul”. She is often compared to musical influences Bonnie Raitt, Grace Potter, and Susan Tedeschi. Yet Heath still manages to find a voice all her own.

Ashley is recognized across Appalachia for her strong songwriting and vocal abilities. Ashley has made the WNCW Top 100 list and Mountain Xpress’ “Best Of” several years in a row. She recently appeared at Merlefest, Bonnaroo, and Shakori Hills, supporting artists including Donna The Buffalo, Del McCoury Band, Anders Osborne, and Shamarr Allen. With her band “The Heathens”, Ashley aims to bring her message of hope and resilience to audiences everywhere. Ashley will be performing at Burntshirt Vineyards in Hendersonville Saturday from 2-5 PM. Join us for food, wine, and a musical good time! We look forward to seeing you here!

Music at the Vineyard - Izzi Hughes

MUSIC AT THE VINEYARD – IZZI HUGHES

Music at the Vineyard – Izzi Hughes

Join us Saturday, July 22nd at the Burntshirt Vineyards Tasting Room and Winery for live music at the vineyard with Izzi Hughes! Izzi is a native of our very own town of Hendersonville, NC. At the age of nine, she began playing guitar for various musical theatre and acting classes at the NC State Theatre. Then at twelve, she channeled all of her time and energy into music. She took private lessons in acoustic and electric guitar, voice, and piano. She also joined her music school’s Rock Band Program. For the next three years she fronted a local band, which was featured on the WLOS Morning Show. They also played at a myriad of venues and local benefits including Relay for Life at the NC Agricultural Center and the famous NC Apple Festival.

In 2015, Izzi went to Nashville, TN and recorded two original songs on Music Row. After winning Asheville’s Wild Wing Café Acoustic Throwdown Competition in March of 2015, she began performing as a solo artist. In 2018 Izzi moved to Nashville full-time to pursue a degree in Music Business at Belmont University. Even though Izzi loved Music City, she couldn’t stay away from the mountains for long.  In 2023, Izzi moved back to NC, where you can catch her at venues all over Western North Carolina.  Her performances deliver youthful energy and musical maturity.  Izzi’s eclectic mix of songs remind audiences of the old ones they have forgotten.  Her repertoire is also known for putting a unique twist on the new songs of today.  Her incredible talent and drive to succeed have shattered misconceptions about her ability to professionally perform at such a young age.

Come on out the Burntshirt Vineyard in Hendersonville Saturday from 4-7 PM and catch a local talent play for a hometown crowd! It’s certain to be an afternoon of amazing music, fantastic wines, good food and great times. We can’t wait to see you here!
