Music at the Vineyard - Abby Bryant

MUSIC AT THE VINEYARD – ABBY BRYANT

Music at the Vineyard – Abby Bryant

Join us Sunday, May 14 at the Burntshirt Vineyards Tasting Room and Winery for live music at the vineyard with Abby Bryant! A minister’s daughter turned fierce frontwoman, Abby has cemented her presence as a standout in Americana and soul with her band’s debut album Not Your Little Girl. Abby and her confident and dynamic backing group The Echoes have established a strong foundation in the world of vintage-inspired Americana and soul rock.

Playing for church services under her father’s direction, Bryant recalls early memories of singing a solo in a nativity play. She grew up backing the church band in her small-town community near Charlotte, North Carolina. It wasn’t until later attending Appalachian State University that she began to seriously consider a professional career in music. There, Abby formed the beginnings of The Echoes with her friend Bailey Faulkner. Together they merged Abby’s love of soul and American roots music with Faulkner’s passion for the blues and Faces-style rock. With these inspirations, Bryant and Faulkner began co-writing songs that would eventually appear on Not Your Little Girl. After graduating from college and working with a number of part-time band members, the two relocated to Asheville, NC.  There they formed a proper band and quickly began heavy touring. that kickstarted an organic fanbase throughout the Southeast.

Don’t miss Abby at Burntshirt Vineyards in Hendersonville on Sunday from 2-5 PM. Come on out for an afternoon of fantastic music, great food and award winning wines! We look forward to seeing you here!

Music at the Vineyard – David Reynolds

Join us on Friday, May 26 from 3-6 PM at Burntshirt Vineyards Tasting Room and Winery for live music at the vineyard with David Reynolds! David spent his early years of writing music living in Alaska, where he worked as a fisherman and carpenter. Often working long stretches in remote areas, he embraced the isolation and untamed wilderness as inspiration for songcraft. Outfitted with a notebook, acoustic guitar, and a powerful singing voice, he writes of wanderlust, adventure, human connection, and wonderment of the natural world.

Reynolds self-released his first collection of these songs, titled Partial to Blue. The simple acoustic-and-vocal recordings captured the songs in a raw form, almost as if hearing them around the campfire. He went on to record several more albums, notably the EP Evergreen, with the track In Full Uniform quickly receiving acclaim. David currently resides in Asheville, North Carolina and has several projects in production, including an upcoming full-length album. Come out to Burtshirt Vineyards in Hendersonville on Friday from 3-6 PM and see David perform live! It’s sure to be an afternoon of great wine, fantastic food and amazing music. Music at the Vineyard - Holler Choir Duo

MUSIC AT THE VINEYARD – HOLLER CHOIR DUO

Music at the Vineyard – Holler Choir

Join us Sunday, April 9 at the Burntshirt Vineyards Tasting Room and Winery for live music at the vineyard with Holler Choir! In February of 2022, Holler Choir began when a group of talented young roots musicians converged on Asheville’s Cross Roads Studios. The meeting’s purpose was to make a solo record for native WNC Americana artist Clint Roberts. However, while recording “Holler Choir”, Clint realized that his idea for a record was the perfect thesis for something larger. A new sound had been born, one both alien and familiar at the same time. Guided by Grammy-winning multi-instrumentalist Michael Ashworth (Steep Canyon Rangers), Roberts’s crew of Bluegrass and Old Time inspired peers drilled the pilot hole for the band that is now known as Holler Choir.

Holler Choir’s band members include Clint Roberts (guitar, vocals), Helena Rose (banjo, vocals), Norbert McGettigan (bass, vocals), Bridger Dunnagan (fiddle), and a rotating cast of additional talent. Their sound features tight vocal harmonies, driving clawhammer banjo energy, introspective lyrics, and melodic hooks. The Holler Choir duo of Clint and Helena will be performing at Burntshirt Vineyards in Hendersonville this Easter Sunday from 2-5 PM. Come on out for an afternoon of Bluegrass and Americana accompanied by great food and fantastic wine! We cant wait to see you here!
