Their unique brand of entertainment fuses solid improvisational instrument leads and traditional bluegrass harmonies with a dose of ignorance in their live sets and a slick delivery of material that will make you want to hoop, holler and come back for more. Hailed as “one of the busiest working bands in Western North Carolina” by livemusicasheville.com, The JackTown Ramblers have performed over 300 shows at various well-known festivals and venues, including the Red White and Bluegrass Festival and the iconic Isis Music Hall to sold-out crowds. Stephens (Jonathan Stephens) is a one-man-band singer-songwriter from Spartanburg South Carolina. With a voice soaked in passion and sincerity, and songs that are anthems for those who toe the line between determination and desperation, J has settled into a sound that he describes as “Carolina Folkrock.”

Two years, thousands of miles, and a few hundred dive bars later, J is ready to release his debut full-band album. With the southern grit of American Aquarium, the soulful timbre of Hozier, and a touch of One Republic’s anthemic pop-rock, his full-length album “Stubborn Hearted Handbook” covers the highs and lows of being a DIY musician and is sure to inspire and encourage those that are unwilling to settle for anything less than their dreams. Join us Sunday, 8/14 for live music on the patio from classic rock, blues and country guitarist Myron Hyman! As a solo singer and guitarist, Myron Hyman performs wherever there are people to hear him. He and his guitar are there playing a wide assortment of covers and original tunes.

“Music brings out the best in people,” Myron philosophizes. “They just leave their other thoughts behind and get lost into the music by dancing, singing, clapping or just closing their eyes and listening. I love playing and seeing the smiles of the people enjoying themselves; that fires me up. I love it when people come up to me young and old, and tell me how some of the songs I play brings them back to so many good memories.”

“I love to play both places big and small,” he said. “Every gig is a new adventure.”

Myron will be at the Burntshirt Vineyards Tasting Room and Bistro from 2-5 PM performing from his extensive set list of classics and original tunes.  We can’t wait to see you here!

Join us Friday, 9/9 from 5-8 PM for live music on the patio with Scott Stetson! Born and raised in Rochester NY, Scott is now an Asheville NC resident of over 15 years. Scott had an early start by playing Punk Rock in some of Rochester’s most popular clubs while still in High School. He now plays in multiple Asheville bands including the Dirty Badgers and Cat & Crow. Crafting honest songs about love, life, murder, and broken hearts, Scott enjoys the opportunity to share the stripped-down, emotional side of just a voice and an acoustic guitar.
