Music at the Vineyard – Roots and Dore
Join us Sunday, 8/28 for live music at the vineyard from American blues, soul, and rock-n-roll artists Roots and Dore! Asheville musicians Riyen Roots and Kenny Dore are keeping the blues alive one show at a time. Currently among the busiest performing acts in the Southeast, they are working hard and quickly building a name for themselves, opening for national acts and playing festivals nationally and internationally. Their 2016 album The Blues and Beyond features such special guests as “Steady Rolling” Bob Margolin of the Muddy Waters Band, multiple Grammy winner David Holt, and Tony Black, bass player for Marshall Tucker Band. It’s going to be a bluesy good time at the Burntshirt Vineyards Tasting Room and Winery Sunday from 2-5 PM. We can’t wait to see you there!

Come on out to our Chimney Rock Tasting Room & Bistro Sunday, 9/25 from 3-6 PM for a rockin’ afternoon of live music on the patio with The JackTown Ramblers at Burntshirt Vineyards Tasting Room and Bistro! Their unique brand of entertainment fuses solid improvisational instrument leads and traditional bluegrass harmonies with a dose of ignorance in their live sets and a slick delivery of material that will make you want to hoop, holler and come back for more. Hailed as “one of the busiest working bands in Western North Carolina” by livemusicasheville.com, The JackTown Ramblers have performed over 300 shows at various well-known festivals and venues, including the Red White and Bluegrass Festival and the iconic Isis Music Hall to sold-out crowds.

Join us Sunday, 8/21 from 2-5 PM at Burntshirt Vineyards Tasting Room & Winery for an afternoon of live music at the vineyard with Rick Praytor!
Rick Praytor has been a featured soloist throughout Asheville and in many other areas for over 25 years. He has had experience with many styles of music, including rock, blues, jazz, and acoustic finger-picking guitar. His musical education is varied, including a period in which he studied privately with Joe Diorio at The Guitar Institute of Technology in Hollywood, California. He is passionate about his craft and has been performing and teaching professionally since 1974.
